Pamela Barbaglia is a Chief Correspondent in charge of EMEA deals at Reuters and her highlights include breaking the collapse of Pfizer’s $160 billion merger with Allergan and General Motors’ sale of Opel to Peugeot. Previously, she was the London Bureau Chief at Mergermarket, where she worked from 2008 to 2014, leading a team of international reporters and overseeing M&A coverage across Europe. Pamela started her career as a general news reporter for TV and newspapers in her native Italy where she worked for Sky Italia and Il Giornale. She wrote a series of special reports for Italian daily Avvenire on Crimea, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Northern Ireland. Pamela received an MA (Hons) degree in TV and Radio Journalism from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and a BA (Hons) degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from IULM University in Milan.
