After having spent 10+ years at the $30B+ hedge fund Millennium Partners as the Head of Trading, Phil DeFrancesco joined Refinitiv as the Global Head of Trading Desktop, concentrating on the workflow and strategic growth of the cross-asset capabilities within Eikon. After spending the first two years at Millennium Partners as the Head of European Trading, Phil moved to the NY desk where he managed one of the largest buyside desks on the street. Millennium is a multi-asset, multi-strategy hedge fund that stayed ahead of its peers through the use of innovative technology, which was the cornerstone of their trading desks. Before joining Millennium, Phil had a brief 1 year stint at Zurich Scudder as an European Trader, and 4+ years at Merrill Lynch on the International Institutional Sales Trading desk. Phil has his M.B.A. in Finance from Binghamton University, sits on the Wall Street Fundraising Committee for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, enjoys reading books and coaching/playing baseball.
