Brett Jollie is Managing Director of Aberdeen Standard Investments in Australasia. In this role he oversees the corporate direction of the business and is responsible for ensuring all business functions work effectively and cohesively in achieving the Group’s strategic goals. Prior to Aberdeen’s merger with Standard Life in August 2017, Brett was Managing Director of Aberdeen Asset Management in Australia.

Brett has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined Aberdeen in 2000 and has held roles in operations, product management, sales and marketing in Australia and the UK. Before joining Aberdeen, he worked for EquitiLink, Chase Manhattan Bank and Permanent Trustee Limited.

Brett is a Director of the Financial Services Council (FSC) , co-chairs the FSC’s Investment Board Committee and is a member of the FSC’s Standards Oversight & Disciplinary Board Committee. He is also a Councillor of the Australian British Chamber of Commerce.

Brett holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Macquarie University and Graduate Diplomas in Applied Finance and Investment, and Financial Planning, from the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA). He is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia and a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
