Below Investment-Grade Debt Weighs Down Bond Funds in Q4

  • Overall fixed income funds retreated 0.33% in Q4.
  • The general domestic taxable bond fund group (-2.70%) was responsible for the majority of the losses.
  • Below investment-grade debt fund peer groups posted the largest losses for the quarter.
  • The General U.S. Treasury Funds peer group (+3.55%) recorded the highest increase for the quarter.
