Consumer Confidence Shows Uptick To Begin 2024

The LSEG/Ipsos Primary Consumer Sentiment Index for January 2024 is at 52.9. Fielded from December 22, 2023 – January 5, 2024, the Index is up 1.8 points.

The index bounced back from last month’s decline and has now shown a significant month-over-month change in back-to-back months following three months of stability. The index now sits nearly three points above the reading that begin 2023 (50.2).
