Consumer Confidence Down as Jobs Index Plummets Amid Tech Layoffs

The LSEG/Ipsos Primary Consumer Sentiment Index for February 2024
is at 52.0. Fielded from January 26 – February 9, 2024, the Index is down 0.9 point.

The index declined slightly after gaining nearly two points last month. Despite being down, the index still sits half a point above its reading from this time last year (51.6).
