In this webcast, James Klempster, the Head of Investment Management at Momentum Global Investment Management, chats with Jake Moeller, Head of Lipper UK and Ireland Research at Refinitiv following the Lipper European Fund Selector Forum held in London on July 11, 2017.

In this short interview, James shares his views on what he looks for in a “good” mutual fund, how he goes about using funds as a portfolio construction tool and how his portfolios are currently positioned in the current market environment.

About James Klempster

James joined Momentum in 2007, following previous roles at NW Brown and Avebury Asset Management. Whilst at Momentum, James has been the pioneer of the company’s inflation-beating UK Factor Fund Series, and this year celebrates 10 years with the business.

As Head of Investment Management, he now leads the strategy for Momentum’s global multi-asset solutions. James sits on the Investment Strategy Group and is responsible for the manager selection process across a number of asset classes.

He has a passion for Outcome-based investing and is driven to ensure the business remains client-centric, heavily focussed on achieving client’s real-life goals.

James is a CFA Charterholder.
