Fund Manager Chat: Andrew Parry – Hermes Equities

by Jake Moeller.

The “Brexit” result in the recent British EU membership referendum has surprised many analysts and investors. According to Lipper data, the European mutual fund market suffered net outflows of over €20 billion in June 30, 2016. Despite this, equity markets have been surprisingly buoyant with the MSCI World Index in Sterling reaching a five-year high (see Exhibit 1. below).

In this podcast, Andrew Parry, Head of Equities at Hermes Investment Management, examines the recent machinations of the European equities market and discuss current opportunities and threats in light of post-referendum uncertainty.

He is talking with Jake Moeller, Head of UK and Ireland Research at Lipper on July 29, 2016.
