Consumer Confidence Shows Stability Following Volatile Start to 2024

WASHINGTON, DC – The LSEG/Ipsos Primary Consumer Sentiment Index for April 2024 is at
53.4. Fielded from March 22 – April 5, 2024, the Index is up 0.3 point.

The index shows stability after alternating gains and losses the previous four months. It now sits nearly three points above its reading from this time last year (50.7).
