by Jharonne Martis.

WASHINGTON, DC – The LSEG/Ipsos Primary Consumer Sentiment Index for July 2026 is at 51.0.
Fielded from June 19 – 30, 2026*, the Index is up 1.9 points from last month.

*Fieldwork started after the June 17 announcement that the U.S. and Iran signed an initial peace deal to end the war. Fieldwork was completed prior to the U.S.-Iran ceasefire ending on July 8.

The index shows its first increase since January, ending a stretch that saw the index fall more than four points. However, it sits nearly three points below its reading from this time last year.
